Information

Lagos Free Zone (LFZ), owned and developed by Singaporean Conglomerate - Tolaram, is an 850-hectare development located in the Lekki axis - the sunrise development corridor in Lagos State.

Established in 2012, LFZ is uniquely integrated with Lekki Port which started operations in April 2023. The integration of Lagos Free Zone and Lekki Port (operated by CMA CGM) will allow for access to regional and international markets. LFZ’s masterplan, which was intentionally crafted by renowned master planner, Surbana Jurong, has 3 major areas: industrial (70%), logistics (20%) and mixed-use (10%).

Today, tenants at the Zone enjoy access to world-class infrastructure including but not limited to warehouses, ready to lease factories, commercial banks, office space, fire station, medical centre, serviced apartments and more. LFZ also features a single clearance window with relevant regulatory agencies such as NEPZA, Customs, Immigrations, Nigeria Police Force, DSS, etc.

LFZ is the foremost investment destination in West Africa for blue chip conglomerates who value ease of doing business, free zone operational support and an optimized supply chain. Once fully developed LFZ will host over 100 major business operations, contributing about 2% of Nigeria’s GDP.

Current tenants of the Lagos Free Zone include Kellogg (USA), Colgate (USA), Salim Group (Indonesia), Arla Food (Denmark), Sana Group (Nigeria), TATA (India), and BASF (Germany).
